In private practice since 2015, I have lived and worked as a guide and therapist across the country from Alaska to New England at residential treatment centers, wilderness therapy programs, summer adventure programs, and public and private schools. I earned a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, and a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Montana (Go Griz!). I'm outside every day with my dog Anchor- a fuzzy ball of love who keeps me tethered to this world.
In 2019, I traveled to Ericeira, Portugal to complete Level One Internal Family Systems training under Susan McConnell and Osnat Arbel. IFS Level Two forthcoming June 2022.
WHAT CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY
"You’re supposed to be happy after surviving a near-death experience, right?! I was recovered after five minutes, buried six feet below an avalanche. The grief and PTSD that followed came with confusion, anger, fear and depression. Eryn understood. Having a relationship with the mountains herself, she was the first counselor who could relate to me. Throughout our sessions using EMDR therapy I noticed my body shaking less, and my mind- my story -becoming clearer. EMDR therapy wasn’t burying my experience, rather, uncovering it and giving me the tools to process each trigger as a witness instead of a victim." -Backcountry Skier
"I attended Eryn’s practice in 2019. As a police officer, EMDR therapy assisted me with overcoming PTSD situations incurred from work. The therapy has improved my quality of life and provided skills to utilize when needed. I am healthier mentally. Thank you again for all you do and helping me through my situations. Everything is so much more calm in my life especially at home. I can’t thank you enough." -Chief of Police
